MP3 and Windows ME

I'm looking to buy an MP3 player, mainly for use on holidays. My operating system is Windows ME and at the moment I've no intention of upgrading to Windows XP. I understand that not all players are compatible with Windows ME. I have looked on various websites but unable to find much on this - can anyone recommend a make and model? Many thanks.

As far as I know you can forget Apple iPods they are all XP only. There are some others click here for example

If you buy one with a removeable memory card, then you can use a card reader to transfer the mp3's. The player's software is then not needed.
