Motorola V3i - how to stop it reading SIM card

  chrismuir 22:32 12 Jul 06

Just copied my contacts list from my current phone over to my new V3i. Now each number is shown twice in the contacts list - once in phone memory and once on SIM card. Is there any way to stop it looking for contacts on the SIM card, or should I just delete them all from the SIM card??

contacts menu, settings, under memory usage select phone only.

I have the V3i m (itunes version) which doesn't seem to have that option in the phonebook menu.

most phones have that option....

erm, my guess is manually delete the double entries and stick to using the phone memory. If the number is in the sim, you can't add personal tones, more details or images to the contacts but you can in the phone memory.
