can anyone tell me what pixels a 19 inch monitor should be on and what bit colour allso is any where i can get a manual for a dell monitor ultrascan p1110. thanks

You may find that the Dell monitor is a rebadge from a well known monitor manufacturer.Dell do a similar exercise with their printer range.Usually it is a slight cosmetic change, that is incorporated in the design.

As spuds rightly points out Dell does rebadge monitors under its own name - in the past Mitsubishi Diamondtron and Sony Trinitron models have often been the base for the larger screen examples.

Are you sure it's a 19in? It appears to be a 21in Trinitron with a 19.8in visible screen (see click here)

I use an Iiyama 19" Vision Master Pro451, I run it mostly at 1024 X 768 at 32 bit high colour. Could use a higher resolution, but find this setting best all round. It is a matter of personal choice.
