Meetup.com Organizers Revolt

Is PC Advisor following the fiasco currently occurring with the Meetup.com organisation?

Drastic changes introduced without consultation with those paying for the service on 27 January have resulted in a huge wave of protest from group organizers.

Meetup appear to be taking a dogmatic and somewhat high handed stance towards their paying customers by refusing to consider reverting to the older system and suspending from their comment boards many of the organizers who have chosen to voice their protests there.

Many organizers are actively seeking alternatives and have stated that they will leave Meetup when their current subscriptions run out.
