Thinking of buying one of these, got a three year old garmin street pilot i3
which is saying maps need bringing up to date would cost about £50 (approx) only being used in U.K. Thought I might be better off with a more up to date(and bigger) satnav system

I looked at it as it's got some seriously good features for the price :-
European mapping
Free lifetime Integrated ‘Traffic Message Channel’ receiver.
Navteq software.
The only downside is that the speed camera database needs a subscription to keep it updated, some like ViaMichelin give it you for free.
Makes buying updates for my Navman look ridiculously expensive, but it's not been caught out yet so I'll keep pushing the decision off into the distant future.
