Have oyu seen that Lycos email accounts are being blocked by AOL and NTL.

This from their customer services

"Dear Customer,

Thank you for contacting us.

This is a known issue and is one we have been addressing for some time.

ISP's such as AOL and NTL among others have blocked entire IP address' of the Lycos mail servers, causing our customers intermittant mail errors (some almost perminant)

Until these ISP's agree to remove these from their blacklistings we are unable to resolve any mail requests to their customers.

With kind regards

Lycos Customer Service

LYCOS – meet you there"

Aol & NTL have always tried to block people accessing Lycos email accounts, As you know it is very competitive.
I find if you do not use the AOL software and use IE you access it quite easily.
