try DABS.COM click here they have many diff makes and you can search price range. Its where i got mine.

Also would like to surgest the ACER ASPIRE 1355xc

2600+, 256ram, 30gb, cd-rw/dvdrom, firewire

One thing i would say is, if you want to play games then acer is not the way to go as the graphics is IntelExtreme which is 1mg off your RAM, if not playing games go ACER. They have EXCERLENT HDD rebuild/formatting & install disks just follow the instructions and 30mins later you got a new laptop!!! Also its a international warrantee v good got mine fixed in NZ when i dropped it (but didnt tell them that ;-) )

MorganComputers.co.uk are good for refurbished mahcines often at a lot less than new prices.

I have bought my last two desktop systems from Novatech plus lots of upgrade components. I can't vouch for the Laptops but the kit I've bought has been great, generally good prices and service is spot on. (No I don't work for them...)
