Is it true that Liyama have a policy whereby you can return a TFT monitor if it has even one dead pixel - not just the 'more than seven' or whatever it is of other manufacturers. I'm considering buying one from Ebuyer. Ideally i'd like to buy one off the high street so I could ask to see it working, but even if somewhere like PCworld or dixons etc actually stocked it, it's likely to be £50-£100 dearer.

Do not know if other makers do this. But with any Mail (including Internet) purchase, you have a cooling off period protect by distance selling law.
