Laptop recommendations please

I need to upgrade my Sony Vaio (1 GB memory and 120GB hard drive) so I am looking for a new laptop with loads of memory etc. The budget is about £800 (£900 absolute max). I like my Sony but also like the look of the Dell laptops and Toshiba has been recommended.

I want a powerful, sleek looking, reliable laptop which will handle all my music, photography etc with a nice screen as I like to watch DVD's and Iplayer. Quite like the smaller screens but am not too fussed about screen size.

Recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.

Dell and Toshiba lappys would almost certainly be worthy of consideration. I bought mine from Novatech earlier this year and have been very happy with it.

Most people on this forum will tell you they are a company well worth your business.
