Laptop Decision

I’m currently in the market for a new laptop after my Compaq Presario V6630EM Notebook broke down. It was purchased in January 2008, and due to the nature of the breakdown – a manufacture fault – I’ve been awarded a £310 partial refund towards a new laptop from PC World or Currys.

I’ve managed to narrow my choices down to one these two systems, which appear fairly similar – both with Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 Processors.

Based on historic experience, I would avoid Packard Bell - Toshiba is a good suggestions or Dell.

Was just about to go for a Packard Bell laptop myself until I just read your post. What was your bad experience with them?
