Nintendo Switch (Nintendo NX) release date, price, specs and preview trailer: Codename NX console…
I brought a motherboard and memory from Komplett.co.uk, on line. On arrival, I found that the motherboard would not POST. I tried various spare components, which work in other systems but to no avail so returned the board. They informed me that their technicians where very busy and it would take around a week to test the board and send me a new one.
I felt that this was a reasonable length of time. However, it has now been over two weeks and I have still not received a replacement. I have had to send a number of emails to them as there is no tracking facility for returns.
I explained that I was on a tight schedule, as the board was for a machine intended as a birthday present.
My last email from a few days ago, requested a timescale for my replacement. If they could not give this, I asked for a refund of the cost of the board plus the postage cost of returning it. Previous emails where replied to but this one was ignored,
I would like to what you think a reasonable time frame would be to test and replace the board and what you would suggest I do next.
Ive checked your links, interesting reading. I didn't find a single reference when I did a similar search.
I'm getting a little "testy" now and feel that I've waited long enough. Do you think that I've waited a reasonable length of time ?
If so, do you have any suggestions as to how I precede. I would prefer them to send me a new motherboard rather than go down the "trading standards" route at this point but things could well change......
Again, thanks for your time
Sie1-- This could be a little difficult,as I believe that Komplett source from places like Norway. So delays may easily occure, but this is no excuse for a non reply to your last email. Give them another try, and if that falls, take the matter up with your credit card company.
