Anyone know where I could find such a deal?

Thanks lots.

Strikes me as an awful lot of money for a gadget to just store and play music.....:-)

You can buy, for instance, three top brand Nicam video recorders for that sort of dosh, three portable 14in TVs, two 21in sets, five NEC dual layer DVD rewriters or around 10 CD-RW rewriters.

It does a little more than music though, doesn't it really?!

ipaq not ipod.....:-)

£246.74 looks like a good price any chance of a point in it' direction?

I paid about £270 at John Lewis for that model, so sounds as though you've found a good deal. it's a nice PDA, I'm very pleased with it.

Erm, the first price? It's available at ebuyer for that.

oddly, the John Lewis website has it on for £299, which is a fair bit more than I paid in Peter Jones!

the above shows same product but different prices. the only difference i can see is that the more expensive one includes 2 year warranty and has more software included.
