I need a compatible mouse.

My MX1000 has decided not to recharge itself.

I don't know why but I put it on the charger and it doesn't charge.

I have tried my old LX700 but the cursor is all over the place and the Logitech support doesn't seem to be able to help.

I am wondering if this is because I am using Vista Ultimate 64bit.

Can anyone recommend a mouse they know will work with this version.

Have you cleaned the contact points? I think there is a new version Logitec h MX1100 coming out sooon.

I have checked the contact points.

I gather from their website the 1100 is already out but I am not over impressed that this has stopped like this. The battery is not easy to replace so if it can't be charged the mouse is effectively caput!

I was thinking about a mouse of another brand but want to make sure it is 64 bit compatible. The staff in PC World hadn't a clue!
