Hyper Pen 6000

Serif, whose graphics software I like, offered me a graphics tablet - Hyper Pen 6000 for £20. I installed it. My Win XP stopped during the boot asking for some driver. I turned the computer off and disconnected the Hyper Pen. After that my PS2 mouse port and my keyboard port went dead and I had to get a new motherboard.

I will not describe the problem of changing a motherboard with Win XP - that's another story!!!

Is there any chance, do you think, of getting Serif to compensate me for the cost of a new motherboard?
