Huge MP3 Storage

  kinger 21:17 07 Oct 03

Some time ago I remember seeing hard drive based MP3 player recorders with huge storage space, I'm talking 100Gb +. This is the sort of thing I need to use on my mobile disco as I have around 20,000+ MP3's stored on various computer drives.

It's a nuisance keeping on changing CD's to play the various MP3 files so I need a massive storage device.

However, I just had a good look but I cannot now see these drives anywhere for sale.

Can anybody point me in the right direction, please?

Some units are upgradeable - eg. the XClef HD-500 from Advanced MP3 Players (click here) - can have their hard drives replaced with any other 2.5" drive (up to 137.5GB IIRC on the XClef).

Hope this helps

...thanks people but these are too small. I know that there is professional DJ equipment available that links to a PC (hard drive can then be unlimited, of course) but I was trying to avoid taking my notebook out on site with me.

Cheers for the replies, much appreciated
