I'm looking for some good quality 'phones which are not too bulky - i.e. not like the traditional ones you'd listen to your home stereo on.

There seems to be a lot of items to chhose from out there - can anyone recommend some based on personal use? My budget is £40 - 50

I use and highly rate Sony MDR-W08 in ear headphones. I got mine from Maplin Electronics for about £10. They have a good bass but they don't block out loud external noises.

PS plus they're comfortable, lightweight and so far appear to be durable.

Sennheiser PX 60 HEADPHONES are very good behind the head jobbies.
