Dear All,
I now have my laptop in the post, thx all you peoples reccos. I now am contemplating on becoming a digital artist and thus am asking you guys and girls to furnish me with reccos as to which graphics tablet is worth getting. I have a budget of around £100. As always any reccos will be greatly appreciated.

It requires much more than a vague contemplation to be a "digital artist". Give the idea a lot of thought before you do anything concrete.

Regarding graphics pads, the only ones of any use as other than toys are those made by Wacom.

As €dstowe suggested, whatever you buy make it a Wacom.

Like many worthwhile things the Law of Diminishing returns applies.

The cheaper Wacoms are so much better than a simple mouse for fine control.

Apart from a much nicer pen, I doubt if you will benefit at this stage by venturing into the much more expensive Intuos range.
