A good film scanner.(Canonscan 8800f)

My old Nikon Coolscan 2 dedicated film scanner was SCSI and is sadly out of date. I have loads of old slides and negs, and having read reviews bought a Canonscan 8800f for £160. So far it seems excellent, as good, for an amateur like me, as a dedicated film scanner and it does flatbed, and 120 film as well as 35 mm negs and slides. Iam using it with W7 64 bit and Photoshop CS4.Dearer than Epson 300? but seems worth it.
