Fujitsu Siemens Notebook anyone?

My old desktop is past its best and I have decided to replace it with a laptop (space saving). I want a machine to surf, run MS Office, edit photo's and a little bit of video editing (must have Firewire port.
Searched around and seen a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo A 1630 34 it runs an AMD 64 2.4Ghz, 80Gb HDD, DVDRW, 128Mb ATI Radeon 9700 Graphics 15.4"WXGA screen for £849 in Comet.
While searching for comparison prices (Comet seems to be the only one stocking this model) I came across effectively the same machine (Amilo M1425) but running a Intel Pentium M 1.7Ghz (Centrino), from LaptopDirect for £829 and also a little light in weight.
Anyone used a Fujitsu machine, or prepared to state a justification for one over the other? May use wireless facility , but not selling point at moment.
