fsnet email sometimes doesn't route to OE 2003

I have an old freeserve fsnet.co.uk, which I use to route e-mail to my [email protected] inbox.
Some e-mail (mainly junk) gets through to me, but some just doesn't arrive, and occasionally people tell me it has been bounced. I run a small business, so it looks bad when this happens. I've tested OE, and sometimes re-booting can help, but I can't see an obvious cause.

My domain is via Easyspace, but I don't think this has a bearing.

Any suggestions

Is the freeserve email set up using a 'pay as you go' account, if so you will need to use it or loose it. Do this by sending yourself the odd email at least once a month, it will go into suspended account mode and you would have to reactivate it...

I use monthly broadband from Orange (it was originally Freeserve dial-up).
Maybe I would be better getting business e-mail routed elsewhere, in which case does anyone have any ideas or good experiences?
