hi is there a way i can increase my freeview signal without messing around with aerials and that.

You can try an aerial booster like click here. Other than that you'd have to move.

Or get Freesat. If you live in an area where Freeview reception is poor (or like my area, virtually no TV signal whatsoever!) it's the perfect solution.

See the Sky website; it'll be mentioned somewhere. It is free after you've bought the installation, hence the name. It was re-launched earlier this year but has actually been around for about 14 months. I've had it since the original launch. You get a good range of channels - more than Freeview - though you will miss out on E4 and More4 unless you upgrade to a normal subscription. Having never had them anyway, I don't really miss them.
