Hi, my Toshiba laptop has a CD drive but no CD writer. I am looking to buy an external CD writer to connect via USB 1. Have been using Iomega zip drive to back up stuff and have been very pleased with it, but need to be able to copy photos etc to CD to give to friends and family. Dabs have the Iomega CD writer 48w, 24rw, 48r (whatever that means) for £89.02 incl delivery. Has anyone got one and can they give me a verdict on it's reliablity and ease of use? If not, any other suggestions, please? Thanks in anticipation.

I have checked the Iomega site re above, it says the speed via USB 1 is very slow so probably will just stick with Zips.
