Epson DuraBrite Technology

Hi, I have been told that the Epson Durabrite technology uses Oil based inks instead of Water based inks so that the printed output has a glossier finish to it and is water resistant.

Has anybody used this new Epson ink? If so is there a noticable different from the usual water based inks of the same DPI?

Thanks, Charence

I have just started using the C84. I was concerned about the inks being glossy or thick or both, but I am very pleased with the results of the printer and ink-I don't see any real difference.
