HI, my Phillips monitor has given up after 8 good years of service (woke up this morning and screen has a tint of green.
I work from home but also watch bbc iplayer etc on my monitor but now wondered if i would be better buying a tv rather than monitor. Is there any difference between the two.

I use a 15" Phillips LCD as`a monitor.

No problems, though I'm thinking of going back to straight monitor soon, simply because I no longer ever use it as a tv.

Monitors are available at very good prices click here.

A TV used as a monitor is second best and should only be considered if you really want the TV and don't use your computer a lot.

Bought my Daughter a Samsung 22" LCD TV/ monitor and the picture is great as a TV and very good as a monitor. click here

You can have the best of both worlds.
