..on the 3pm Radio2 news whilst in the car that a Lexmark printer manufacturing factory was to close down in Scotland?

If this is correct, is this the factory involved?

It doesn't surprise me. Their printer prices are probably the cheapest on the market at the moment but the replacement ink cartridge price is horrendous. It is cheaper to buy a new Lexmark printer than it is to replace the ink.

Perhaps they should try dropping the ink replacement by at least 50 percent? Might keep them in business.
