Desktop for nephew - 400-500 Squid

My sister has asked my advice (mistake No 1) with buying a desktop for her son for Xmas.

It will be replacing an old PC so wont need a printer or bagloads of software just a new OS.

I would imagine he'll be using it for all the usual including a bit of gaming.

This one has caught my eye (with just a TFT to add on) click here

Any advice opinions appreciated!

Seems a good buy, only problem I can see is the intergrated graphics card(not a good idea to play games with)

Yes I agree with mike1967, the integrated graphics won't be much cop for gaming. However, the rest of the spec looks fine, processor is nice and fast. You could always buy that computer and add another 60 quid on and buy a better graphics with it (click here) then install that card instead.

You can buy from Dell and Novatech with a graphics card upgrade

Whatever she buys, get it early in time to test to see it works ok before Dec 25

base unit good apart from graphics get rid of and instal the 7600 card and you have a unit which will do for a while at the price.
