If you are a member of Which?, there is a comprehensive review of many soundbars. The Cambridge does not come out too well. For £149 you could get the Panasonic SC-HTB20 which they describe as "one of the best sub-£250 sound bars they have tested. The Denon appears not to have been tested.

I have a Denon DHT - T110 bought from Richer Sounds. My wife would not "allow" a multi speaker system, and I originally booked at an expensive Bose "under TV" system. I listened to several makes in Richer Sounds and am happy with the Denon - it sits under a 42" LG TV and really improves the sound. I linked it with an Optical Digital Cable. It can be taught to respond to the TV remote ( you have to use the TV menu to turn off the TV speakers). A review here:

Great price:

Richer Sounds

I am very happy with it.

I'd be getting rid of the wife.

Easier said than done!! A lot dearer than a sound system...

Do you make all the household decisions? - if so I salute you!!!
