My Dell Dimension 5000 is just over a year old, on Friday night the keyboard died. I was just wondering if this is unusual/unlucky etc.?
Thoughts?

Is it the Key board I wonder?
Are you able to aquire/borrow a desk top board and plug it into the PS2 port?
To prove Keyboard or worse

i borrowed my mother in law's Dell keyboard, and it worked fine.

Then just buy a new one, you can get them for as little as a fiver and for as much as you wish to spend. Any PS2 keyboard will do you don't have to buy a Dell one.

To answer your question. You've just been unlucky I think.

Bought one yesterday, a Labtec one from Argos. I reckon you're right, just my luck!!
