I've just phoned Mesh computers and spoke to a sales chap, I asked them if I purchased a computer from and didn't like it could I return it for a refund, he said yes but I would have to pay a %10 re stocking fee, can they do this, what about distance selling regs.

I know that I can return an item within 7 days but what about the %10 re-stocking that seems a bit un-fair.

You can only get a refund if the item is faulty. If there is no fault with the system and you didn't want it then they can charge a "re-stocking fee" Its quite common with Computer retailers.
