I am not sure what you are saying. I tried your link but it concerns HP which I don't have so I didn't read it. Are you questioning the legality of suppliers of ink cartridges that are not the real thing? I have been using compatible ink cartridges for both my Epson 895 and Epson R200 ever since the original ink cartridges ran out.

The Company manufacturing the ink, which was not the Company selling it, used a "Patented" process or product without seeking permission from the "Patentee".

I have no problem with this.

HP has spent a lot of it's own cash developing it's inks and should be allowed to benefit from that research.

If others wish to manufacture inks. Let them create their own.

pj123--I am not saying anything, the article deals with the fact that the printer manufacturers are still pursuing companies that are recycling cartridges. In this case, it is the ink quality and the legality of vender's supplies.
