i am considering a cheap tablet for reading, internet study and hopefully using Java Beans IDE on the move. I like the price of the connect 7 and it runs W8.1 which is apparently necessary to run the Java/script developer. It only comes with wifi which wont be much use to me as is as I want to use it in places away from wifi so I was hoping to use G3/4. So the question is how can I do so? I have thought of a dongle but can I just use one or some or none. If not I am hoping a mifi unit will do the job. Will it work with one of these and are they battery powered. Regards NMS.

Thanks for this. I thought it made sense, but nice to get another opinion.
