graphics card wanted...

It's not for gaming but a friend of mine has Vista Ultimate but the MS upgrade advisor says the graphics card is a failing there.

Any suggestions?

Thanks as always, Dio

PS A link to a novatech product would be great!

The nvidia site gives a list of gfx cards that are "Windows Vista Ready:", click here.

They range from the lowly fx5200 to the 8800, I would say (unless it's for gaming) that the 7600 - 7900 cards would be fine.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for those; certainly no gaming so I'll balance cost and performance somehow.

Given the laco of Vista drivers I tell my mate to hold off for now anyway - he has a perfectly good XP installation as it is.
