You will notice no difference between Pentium and AMD. Get it and you can have it running in 30 minutes. There will be no point in having angst attacks for what you need it for.

is this basicallly the same as a duo core pent?will this be okay to use Avg free ,

Excellent buy and with the 19" monitor, a no-brainer. Don't accept their offers of half price Norton security or extened warranty or surge protector. You can get all the security you need for free, your household insurance will cover the computer and surge protectors are cheaper elsewhere.

only has 0.5 cache

'only has 0.5 cache'...nothing to concern yourself about. Yes you can use AVG free and spyware terminator

Was at pc world to day and guess what! No lg 19' monitors left.So they couldnt sell me the computer at that price, only at £50 more with a lower spec monitor!Told the salesman(who was not really interested at all)if he could phone me when more lg monitors came in.Said he would but could not promise me the same deal as it was this weekend only. Will wait and see. Thanks for the advice all!
