But am concerned about the amount of complaints they get here and on other forums. Either that or Dell, Novatech, Evesham or PCW.

Do i risk it again and but mesh and hope i get lucky and get a laptop that works out of the box (my home pc did not) or do i go elsewhere?

I would always go with Evesham. They have some good notebooks at the moment. I saw there C530 for £849 just won a group test for Intel Core 2 Duo notebooks in a rival mag this month

I would go for either Dell or Novatech.

I've just ordered my third Mesh base unit. Never had any problems with any of them, great pieces of kit and all worked flawlessly straight out of the box. I personally would recommend them. The old ones I've passed on to members of the family and still going strong. The new one is due to be delivered next Tuesday.
