Hi I'm new :)

So i'm looking to buy an internal hard drive for my PC and was wondering what you guys would recommend i.e. best places to buy from, value for money.

I'm looking for something between 250gb to 320gb.

Check the warranty provided, because this can differ between 1 and 3 years for the same unit, depending how and who you buy from.

You can buy an OEM Western Digital 320GB Caviar SE for £46 from Scan (I've just bought one to replace a now too small 60GB version of the same HDD) - it comes with a three-year warranty from date of purchase.

The main thing to look out for with WD models is that the model number ends in JB. See:

This is for warranty reasons...:-)
