I am looking for a budget desktop suitable for general family use, a bit of gaming (not much more than Football Manager) but mainly for video editing. I am buying a monitor separately so do not require a full package.

I have so far found the following:

Novatech Isys EX £389.85

Mesh Essential £349.00

My budget is about £400 any opinions on the above or alternative machines would be much appreciated.

Have you checked out Cougar Extreme?

Not used them personally (Buil my own), but they get many good reviews on PCA and the prices certainly look good.
