BT - Broadband Charges

  Troodles 20:57 05 Aug 03

One person in our house has got a BT broadband connection via a phone plug in her room. We asked BT about connecting the rest of us up and they quoted us a price of £261 for a wireless network and £199 for a wired network, plus £49.99 for each new modem and USB adaptor. We would then pay only one charge per month. This price seems extremely high (particularly for the networks). What do you recommend? Is there somewhere cheaper where we can buy the networks?
