Bit the bullet

After reading about the benefits of free antivirus and firewall software on the forum for the last couple of years I've finally bit the bullet and ditched Norton IS 2007. It got to the point that once Norton decided to update. My PC would be absolutely good for nothing for 10 Min's. So I've now installed AVG free and COMODO pro free firewall and everything's running as sweet as a nut. and my PC's gone from a 15 min start up to just under 3 Min's. Should have done it years ago 1 but needed parental controls. So I've subscribed to CyberPatrol. In task manager I've also noticed my running processes reducing from 45 to 32. So thanks all for the good advice

Thanks for that

at the mo I've got a subscription for counterspy which I'll now use for active protection and AVG antispyware as passive protection. I found spybot slowed down Outlook to much
