best sub £500 pc available ?

Looking for a pc just for internet use, no games to be played or anything major but would like a dvd burner included , on dial up at moment so need a modem but will be on broadband when area enabled in july, seen this offer in Comet which seems good, any ideas or good offer around ?

Looks good for the price; another 512mb of RAM will finish it off nicely.

But no doubt there are other options available that people can flag up for you. Still, if you want to go in to the shop and take it home, it's there for you.

Agree with Diodorus Siculus.

Extra memory would have to be considered as 64mb is lost straight away to the graphics card, leaving you with only 192mb for windows to play with. It's a cheap upgrade to bang in another stick when your pockets fill back up or your arms stretch. :-)

Check PcWorld as well, they've got some cracking deals on at the moment too.

If you change the service pack to 1 year collect and return the price is reduced by £105.
