Hi, I dont know to much about pc's, all i do know is that i need a new one....
ive been looking about, but every time i find one a better one pops up. Ive got a budget of about £1300 inc VAT & delivery(although this ould be strehed slightly). It will mainly be used for games, internet, music and general home use. Id like it to include a TFT,DVD+RW and possibly a printer.
you guys seem to know what your talking about, so some advise would be good. so if you ould post what you think the best deal is at the moment id be greatfull.
i dont realy are about manufactures or where its from, providing its not your mate dave down the local=)

also, are theese new Athlon 64's worth looking at?

Ta, sean

For about...

Stylish case
AMD Athlon XP 2800+ Processor
Quality motherboard (MSI)
512Mb Fast DDR
120Gb 7200RPM HDD
256Mb FX5600 Turbo DDR graphics
5.1 Surround speakers
17" TFT XGA Screen
DVD
DVD-RW
Epson Printer
Deluxe wireless optical keyboard and mouse
Windows XP Home ed
Floppy drive
56K V.92 Modem
USB2, 10/100 Network

About £1106.73 and it plays games very well, I dont think any faster will gibe you any better gameplay.

But this is a great system for all your needs.

I would suggest that you look beyond the raw specs and think about 'Will my PC supplier want to know me when it all goes pear shaped?'
I am currently in my own quandry: P4 3ghz or Athlon 64 3200+: both are the same price but should I go for tried & tested P4 or cutting edge 64bit, which may suffer teething problems.
Oooer missus?!
