I'm about to upgrade to a new PC, with a DVD writer. Can anyone recommend a user friendly utility to automatically back up selected software to a DVD? In short, I want to back up the PC on a regular basis, the photos, game saves, spreadsheets etc, but to individually do that once ebery couple of weeks or so would be a pain. Anyone any suggestions?

Have you tried Nero version 6 yet??

Brilliant!

Download the full demo version from click here and try it. It has a seperate Backup program that I am just trying out but seems excellent, including incremental backups, and scheduled backups etc.

Would not use anything else now.......

You can download a free trial version, and it does what you need it to do.

Have been taking a look at Nero version 6 but being a novice, is it possible with this software,to back up your entire hard disk onto CD/R's .

Cheers.

It is as important to get a decent backup strategy, as it is to get the right software.
