Thinking of buying a laptop and just wondered if they are any good or if anyone has had any bad experiences with them, seem cheap prices for refurbished models.

So, anyone willing to give some feedback for this company click here which claims:<BR>
"<b>Best for Refurbished PCs, Notebooks and Computer Equipment</b>
Europc is one of the largest suppliers of discounted, surplus and factory refurbished computer equipment in the UK. All refurbished systems sold by Europc are better value than a new alternative without any compromise on quality. All Europc products are the same systems sold by the worlds leading PC manufacturers. The only difference being, that our "next to new," machines have been prepared and checked twice.

With over 15,000 trade, corporate, educational and government accounts and a forcast annual turnover of $25 million our success is based on the low price of the brand name stock we sell, along with the excellent, ongoing customer service and support from our dedicated and experienced staff.

We buy in bulk and sell direct to pass our savings on to you, the customer. These discounts allow you to replace, expand or upgrade your IT equipment more often, letting you take advantage of the rapid advancements in computer technology, keeping you up to date and ahead of everyone else.

We offer PC buyers a genuine value alternative to our overpriced competitors coupled to a unique, personal touch rarely found in a market of limited choice and inadequate support. Specialising in individual, compatible systems our tailor made service is focused on meeting the needs of every client.

At Europc we want to stay on top of an industry that never stands still and well ahead of our competitors. We know that this drive and determination will enhance our performance."

bought one from them about a year ago...

I can't remember exactly what happened, but after it arrived there was soem issue with something not being right. (I can't even remember if it was a hardware or software issue).

Whatever the problem was I do know that it was resolved quickly to his complete satisfaction and he was very happy with both the service and the product.

I've had two computers and two TFT's from them. Both excellent. The second computer I ordered was out of stock, the bloke I dealt with not only sourced for me a different unit (slightly higher spec), he also charged me the original unit price. All in all (from my experience) they are an OK outfit.

has just reccommended them as I am searching for a budget laptop for my Father, who at 91 wants to become a white haired silver surfer. My mate bought a Dell Desktop at good price with 3yr warranty included. Absolutely no problems.
