AMD Phenom four core CPU review

at Tom's Hardware. The new CPUs will fit previous 939 socket boards which AMD moved away from. The current manufactured 65 nm production process will drop to a 45 nm process in 2008 and even these later processors, out probably in 2009, will be compatible with 939 pin boards. TC. click here

I understand the Phenom is OK with both AM and AM2 mobos. As I have a Gigabyte AM mobo with an Athlon x 2 3800, Nvidia 7600 GT I might be tempted if I could be really convinced of a Games improvement. Any views anyone

As tigertop2 states OK with AM and AM2 sockets unfortunately dont think it will come out for socket 939 mores the pity.
