Decided I want to partiton my hard drive and install linux on the new partition.

In another thread it was recommended that to do this I use a software package such as Partition Magic.

Is there any cheaper alternatives to this software.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

TIA

OR use the Partitioning tool when you install Linux...its free ;-)) and as you have just downloaded a very big file, might as well put it to use ;-))

This is for Mandrake and not the best as in EASE OF USE but its free.

Backup the usual first.
