Advice on buying a New Computer

  TenTrenchesDeep 10:50 08 Sep 05

I am looking to buy a new computer, and spend around £700 - £800. I haven't bought a computer in years, so am a bit off the pace in terms of the minimum sort of requirements, e.g. processor, ram, hard drive capacity etc I should be looking to get.

I am not too bothered about a package, would rather get a decent PC up front and get other bits later.

I will be downloading pictures from my digital camera, so will want the facility to be able to edit these quickly and easily and have the facility to put them up on a web site in the future.

Other than that will be using for internet, e-mail, word processing etc, not too bothered about games or DVD side to be honest.

Any help, thoughts or recommendations out there ?

You will be able to buy a machine that suits your use for much less than £800.

Have a look at these examples

Mesh click here

Dell click here

PC World click here

All more than match your requirements
