I'm changing DSL provider at present i use a alcatel speedtouch [2 years old], the new provider supplies a new binatone modem would this be any better than my old alcatel both are USB.

No idea about Biantone but I use a Alcatel 330 with BTBroadband and I found it easy to set up and faultless to use.

I have a binatone broadband modem but it is also a router,i have found it very easy to setup as you have a control pannel that is built in the modem and you have to access it via internet explorer i have to type......

http:\\192.168.1.2

and then the control pannel comes up.

dunno if this is any help to you?

thanks for the replies, not sure how i compare modems, the speedtouch has been ok, but sometimes the internet slows down if i disconnect and reconnect it speeds back to its normal pace. not got the details of the binatone one as yet still waiting for Bulldog to send it.
