Ad-Aware Query

I am using AD-Aware Standard Edition. Am I correct in thinking that even though it detects and removes spyware, it doesn't stop them re-entering the PC? Do I need the chargeable Plus version to do that? I have looked at their website, but am unsure. Every time I run Ad-Aware, (I have just updated it), I get notified of about at least 20 items. I also use SpyBot Search & Destroy and find that the spyware it deletes does not return.

Use free SpywareBlaster click here to stop it getting on your PC.

"at least 20 items" if those items are all cookies then don't worry.

Thanks, Jester2K.

I have installed and run SpywareBlaster. It looks like it is a good product.

In AdAware are you sure you are not confusing Running Processes (which normally is between 20 to 22 when I do a scan) with the unwanted items listed in red?

Yes, I was. It was a case of dive in first, read about it later!

I use AdAware6, S and D 1.2 and SpywareBlaster - it helps keeps the little b----s at bay as much as possible....
