I've been trying without success to find a printer / scanner which can print onto A3 paper. Does anybody know of one and is it any good?

A decent A3 printer click here is not too hard too find at a reasonable price: click here

A3 scanners are rare, and tend to be very expensive. Do you need to scan A3 originals? Maybe a digital camera would be more flexible.

The A3 printer looks good. I only need to be able to scan at A4 size but I'd like to be able to print A3 documents. To date the best option I have found is the A3 printer and A4 scanner separately.

Either Canon or Epson do very good A3 printers.

For prices have a look at:

for starters.

An A3 printer will cost an arm and a leg, if you limbs to spare have a look at the same sites, but look for scanners.

"An A3 printer" should read - scanner!

and "if you limbs" should read - if you have the limbs

I am waiting for the A3s to be as good as the A4s are - that will be something.

OK so it looks as though it needs to be separate scanner and A3 printer then. Thanks for the suggestions guys.
