Emusic are advertising 50 free songs if you sign up to their downloading service and give your card details.
Can be taken anytime in the next 14 days after that you are charged membership unless you have cancelled your interest.
Anyone use them or can comment on them please?

No nothing about Emusic, but I am always tend to be a little concerned about providing card details and free offers.Best to understand the full terms of the offer before committing yourself perhaps!.

If you get 50 free songs why do they want your credit card details?
Offer seems not to be that free after all!

until or unless you provide your card details.

It's understandable - nobody's going to run a successful business by giving 50 tracks away to all and sundry, no strings attached. You register your card details, and you agree that the company can bill you a monthly amount. You'll then be allowed to download 50 free tracks.

You can cancel your monthly billing when you wish.

The one thing that concerns me slightly is that the site is down at the moment - "Our engineering team is working to correct the problem".

We all know that feeling, but on a music site that should be engineered to run 24/7 for paying customers it's not a good sign.
