VB macro help in Word

I'm trying to write a little bit of code that deletes everything between 2 boox marks:

ie, i have variable text of:

"phone us on 0000 000 0000 x0000 between"

Now the length of the phone number may change in that it might not have the x0000 in it.

So I'm thinking of having a bookmark after "on" and a bookmark before "between" and then a little bit of code to delete in between these 2 bookmarks. I then have code that puts in the right phone number that I want to appera.

Any ideas?
